Artist NoteHyong Nam Ahn's recent search for a permanent studio space led him to a property beside a pond in Monroe, New York. He recalls seeing a family of deer bathing alongside the pond fish and the wildlife while monsoon-like summer rainfall replenished the land. It is through this natural body of water, with its fish and turtle inhabitants, that the artist drew inspiration for his most recent Pond Series.
