"Like a powerful storm, the energy from a massive blue star roils the surrounding dust and gas, its blue light reflecting and scattering through the enormous, churning cloud. In this image I strived to show the depth and movement of the gases and dust. The juxtaposition of the blue starlight and the golden space dust and gas enhances the perception of three-dimensionality. A total of 31 hours of exposures collected in the winters of 2018 and 2019 were used to make this image."-Gary Lopez
