"This work is about my brother. As the paintings get older, they are more and more focused or somber in tone. We’re getting older everyday, less extreme and more endurance. Nowadays, my brother has a family and kids. Those responsibilities have a way of sobering you, in a good way, but still you find joy in the small things, not the extremes."
