Artist Note During isolation, the artist began to express her desire for a time where we can be together again. Each sculpted work begins to focus on the context of its environment and the objects and people that are necessary to make something become alive. The Market depicts a transparent figure holding the hand of a smaller transparent figure who holds onto a solidly depicted doll amongst a rendering of a marketplace. The Market she depicted as herself holding onto her older sister and the doll that anchors them to the ground.
