Artist Note
Humanity has used animal hides since the Paleolithic, for clothing, tools, writing as well as shelter. The repetition of shapes portrays the hide of animal and the skin of the painting. In unfolding the layers and surface, Murado discusses roots, beginnings and the skin that molds who we are and how we live. Using purple he signifies the experiences of Psicodelia and points to shamanic traditions.
