Chae’s life turned upside down, as reflected in her Change of Angle series. As the compositional space takes a literal shift, Chae invites the viewer to be open to a change of perspective with the circumstances they may encounter from the past or present. Banquet Hexagon Butterfly follows the progression of this forethought and enters into a blossoming within the artist's external factors no longer producing fear but a desire to move with unshakable bold faith. She shares that the banquet becomes a celebration where dreams and prayers can thrive. This preluded the written blessings for new owners of her work found beneath all of her artworks.
